Group members: duties

Although being a member of the advisory group brings with it a certain amount of responsibility, the duties that accompany membership will not be more taxing than occasional phonecalls and emails. The advisory group is formed from our sponsors and a small selection of noteworthy industry professionals, respected for their experience and knowledge in the plant engineering and design industry. Membership is open to all sponsors willing to actively participate, and positions will be filled on a first come first served basis.

The exact duties have varied slightly from event to event but typically they involve topic and theme selection, quality control of papers and presentations, event format and marketing issues to name a few. The group can be any number of persons providing it does not become too large or too polemic. Plant-Tech welcomes any suggestions or advice that improves our events. Once the event had concluded, the group is disbanded.
