PLANT-TECH 08, The European Plant Engineering and Design Conference is the premier event for the Oil and Gas Industry in all matters of Plant Information Technologies.

PLANT-TECH 08 is the continuation of the European Plant Engineering and Design Conference as we have come to know in the past several years. After the use of several names ( PIMC, PELC, EPEDC ) we have decided to simplify matters and go back to just Plant-Tech; as a company name Plant-Tech has been in business since the first PIMC Conference in 1996; and quite frankly nothing much has changed in our enthusiasm to the creation of the European Forum for Plant Design, Plant Engineering and Plant Information Management.

Plant-Tech as a name covers, in our view, rather adequately the themes, industry and segment of the industry where we operate, namely Plant Engineering and Plant Design primarily for the European Oil and Gas industry.

At PLANT-TECH 08 once again we will bring the key role players in our industry: the Owner Operators, the EPC Contractors and the top of the Plant Information Management Solution Providers.
It is our aim to continue with the European Forum as the tradition for the managers and engineers in the European Oil and Gas Industry and a must if you are in the business of designing, operating, maintaining or just running a Plant or a Engineering Design Office in our Industry.

Plant-Tech, as always, is aimed at the Oil and Gas, industry, moreover at all those professionals that are currently engaged in Plant Information Management regardless of position or discipline. It focuses on the data creation and manipulation for all of the phases of the Plant Life Cycle data.
At Plant-Tech 08, we are going to address the impact of Plant Information Management Technologies from the perspective, needs and point of view of the Owner / Operator; it is our intention to have a program that will reflect this and that will offer views, opinions and real life and work situations in the European Owner Operator Community.
